Interior insulation systems
Internally applied thermal with FOAMGLAS® is possible and sensible both for new buildings and for the renovation of old buildings. Where facades are meant to remain unchanged or in older buildings where the present thermal protection is insufficient, interior insulation with FOAMGLAS® is very often an ideal measure.
Thermal insulation on the inner side with waterproof and vapour-tight FOAMGLAS® makes a major contribution to improving the living climate. The vapour barrier “built-in” from the material structure keeps the building component cross-section free of condensate. Moisture damage and unhealthy mould formation are ruled out as a result.
FOAMGLAS® interior insulation can be separately adapted to every room use. In this way energy savings can be optimised. In addition the individual living spaces, depending on the need, can be intermittently heated because the heating time will be significantly reduced. FOAMGLAS® interior insulation is also especially economical because costly facade and scaffolding work is eliminated. In addition the installation is simple thus reducing costs
